Em (wife) and I had gone to the CTX Mortgage place to do some more of our paperwork for the mortgage for the new house. We were talking with Michelle, the loan officer, and she was going over my credit history. She wound up wanting me to do stuff with the blemishes on my credit history, like writing formal letters about why they were there and such.
She was doing something to show me that they were really there, and not just a figment of my imagination or something by using my check card, and swiping it through a reader. The reader then printed out a list of each of the "bad checks" that I had written. There were ten of them listed, and the reader listed out several small receipt sized sheets.
At first I thought it was more than ten because of there being three separate sheets, and then I realized that two of them were listing out "sub portions" of the primary list, which printed first. I was starting to feel really helpless about the whole thing because I didn't know what to do. They wanted reasons for all that stuff being there, and most of them I couldn't remember.
