Amusement Park Greetings

I was at an amusement park that was supposed to be somewhat like Kings Dominion. I was riding on a roller coaster called the Anaconda, but it was painted all white instead of green. This was a very strange roller coaster in that when riding it, you could take a different path each time. There were various places where the coaster track split off into two or three directions all at once.

A specific one I remember seeing was this one where the track started going up. There were three paths that went off there. One of them looked like it just went straight up. One curved off and around to the right, and the other went around and off to the left. At some point during my ride, I became unbuckled from my seat, and I wound up falling out, but I knew that this was a planned thing. I had one of those big rectangular parachutes on my back so that when I was let go, it came to life, and I was able to glide around.

The roller coaster was out over this big lake, and I was now able to fly around it freely by gliding on the parachute. I think that this may have even happened a couple of times before the main time that I remember it, because I think that's how I knew it was going to happen. I think I was even able to control when it happened so that I could fly off wherever I wanted to. I realized at some point during my flight that I was really good at this because of all the times I had gotten cars to fly in Grand Theft Auto using the cheat codes. The parachute worked the same way.

At some point during my flight, I saw my boss Ron , from Mercedes. He was on the shore somewhere, and as I passed by him one time, he said something to me about landing because he needed to see me. He said that he'd tell me where and when to land, so I said okay. I swooped out and came back and watched him. He took a few steps back and then pointed down to a spot on the ground next to him. He said, "There! Now." So I came in, and I landed within a foot or so of the spot that he pointed to. I felt I was off the mark, but he seemed fine with my landing.

The parachute was mysteriously gone, although I never noticed it leaving, and we went walking along through the weedy growth to my right. We were walking along this grassy knoll area along side of the water. As we got to a "corner" of the lake, we passed a boy about the age of 16 or 18 who was trying to figure out why there was all this water there on the ground where he was supposed to be working. He had blond hair and was thin but athletically built. He seemed pretty upset and worried about all the water coming up from under the grass that he was supposed to be tending to. (raking it or hoeing or something) Ron wound up taking the tool from the boy's hands and said something about looking around to find out what it was. Ron used the hoe/rake to scrape around a bit, and wound up peeling up the grass where the water was coming up. He followed it for a couple of feet, peeling back the grass, and finally found some ripped or cut white tubing under the grass. As he continued to pull back the grass, he finally found that there was a sprinkler head under the grass that had been mangled when one of the workers was mowing there. The boy was relieved to find out that it was not his fault.

After we left this area, at some point Ron and I wound up meeting some girl that I used to go to school with. Ron decided to give us a tour of parts of the park that weren't open to the public yet. They were places where the rides were currently broken down, but they were going to fix them or replace them at some point in the near future and reopen them to the public. One place that we went to was this outdoor pool along with a bathhouse and changing rooms. I had seen this pool when I was using the parachute, so I knew it was here, and I also knew why it wasn't being used. It was full of this squishy red fungus, and obviously, no one wanted to swim in that.

We went through this low gate and up some stairs to the main sidewalk area around the pool. The changing building was immediately to our right, and there was a little bit of a grassy area to our left. Directly in front of us about 20 feet or so was the pool. On the other side of the pool was a sitting area that had a roof over it, and it had lattice work around three sides of it to keep the sun out.

As we started walking towards the pool, the fungus was squishing under our feet. The girl and I both started noticing how it was making our feet itch. I had bare feet, and she was wearing flip-flops. We told Ron that it was great of him to bring us to show us this stuff, but we needed to get out of there because of our feet itching so badly. He said "sure" and we wound up turning around and going back out through the gate. When we got out into the grass again, the girl and I wiped off our feet in the grass to try to get all the red fungus off. I was a little worried about it infecting our feet permanently if we didn't wash it off completely with water, but we wound up being fine.

At some point after this, Ron turned into a younger guy that I had also gone to school with, but I didn't remember who it was. The three of us were going around through these small underground tunnels that were naturally formed. Even though they were tunnels, they seemed awfully bright under there. The sun was shining in along the walls and such, and was very nice in there. In some places it just seemed like the tunnels were very tall and open at the top, and in other places it seemed that the tunnels were completely closed at the top, but it was still very light.

Anyway, I remember the girl had put in this long black curly wig just for the fun of it, and was wearing just some comfortable shorts and a tee shirt, almost like gym clothes. We were crawling around through the tunnels acting like we were on some sort of mission to not been seen. At one point, we found this guy named Anthony (I don't remember his last name, but he was about the only full blooded Native American I went to school with) that I used to go to school with. He was standing there leaned up against his big, old, and red pickup truck. The girl and I jumped back around the corner to avoid being seen by him, and the guy that we were with hadn't been far enough over in that direction to even have seen him. The opening to the tunnel was over to my right. I wound up going back and peeking around again, as did the girl, and Anthony wound up seeing us. He came over rather quickly and decided to join us in our game. We went around through the tunnels a bit more and then eventually I had to go to the bathroom.

I wound up coming out in the bathroom at Mercedes that's across from John's (PDC Manager at Mercedes) office here in Texas. As I went up to the urinal, I noticed that now I was in my work uniform, and that the bathroom was darker than usual, with shades of gray and blue in the tile, floor, and walls. I went up, unzipped, and started going to the bathroom. While I was standing there, I realized that the cleaning girl (a small Hispanic girl of about 17 or 18 years old) and her boss and one of her coworkers were all there in the bathroom with me.

The boss, who was a tall dark-haired woman, was doing an inspection of the cleaning girl's skills. She had evidently just cleaned the bathroom, and now it was being inspected. The boss went around looking at everything and making little comments here and there about stuff. The cleaning girl was just watching her somewhat nervously. The boss came up to the urinal where I was currently peeing and she craned her neck and looked in between me and the urinal, even though I was trying to retain a bit of my privacy. She didn't even seem to think about the fact that I was standing there using the bathroom. When she looked in, she said, "Let's see what we've got here..." and when she looked in, she stopped and started laughing.

She realized that I was there, and how funny her own statement had been, as if she had been referring to me. I also found it funny, and I was laughing along with her. The cleaning girl and her coworker were also having a little giggle about the whole thing. I wasn't really embarrassed about it. I just though it was funny that she was so into what she was doing that she didn't seem to notice me there.

Finally I finished up and I went and washed my hands. The sink, instead of being off to my right and on the same wall as the urinals, was on the wall to the right of the door to come in. That's where the cleaning girl and her coworker were standing and waiting for the inspection to finish.

While I was washing my hands, this older heavyset blond woman came in and started getting all upset at the cleaning girl because of the cleaning girl's lipstick. She told the girl that she needed to turn the lipstick around so that it didn't leave that "unsightly line" under the girl's lip. To me it just looked like the lipstick had worn away and the line at the bottom of her bottom lip was where it was still the strongest. I think that someone there came and got all upset at the blond woman for railing on the poor cleaning girl about it. It was either the boss or the coworker, but I'm not sure which.

On my way out, I stopped and popped my head and shoulders back around the corner from the door and leaned in closer to the cleaning girl. I became very aware of what I said to her, and I made a point of focusing on it in my mind to try to "send her the metal waves" of what was saying, too. I told her to have a great day.

I then left and went back into the key and lock site and went to the EGS station between the FBS3 key station and the instrument clusters. There was a table there out from the wall that had a lot of stuff packed on top of it, and it seemed to be almost like a little work area back behind it, as if the table marked off the work area for the EGS programming. Erwin (from Mercedes) was back there working, although I think I was supposed to help him out somehow.

Once everything was done and we had packed up for the day, I got my stuff and left the building. As I was going outside, I was laughing and joking around with Chip Thurston and a couple of the other people that I work with. As we got outside, I noticed that it was night time. The parking lot was, instead of the normal lot that we have, was now the parking lot to the Pleasant Valley Church, only it was surrounded by more a lot of trees instead of a cemetery. I went straight out from the door and expected to see my car in the lot directly in front of me.

I was still joking around with people, and someone pointed out that I was parked way down at the other end of the lot with most of them. So I turned right and walked with most of them down to our group of cars. I realized that this was the first time I had driven my car in several days, and that it had been parked here the entire time. I came up behind my car and went to the drivers side. I was facing work, which now looked like a combination of the church and a shopping mall.
