I was watching a movie in the living room of mom's and Pat's (step-dad) house. Jen (daughter of Janet, whom I worked with at Papa John's) was there watching it, too, and it seems that it was supposed to be some sort of scary movie. It was either about monsters or ghosts, or maybe even both.
The next thing I know is that I had to go, and I was outside in a semi-wooded area where there were several buildings lined up in front of me and it was sunny out. They were kind of average sized single story houses, and each one had a short cement room built onto the back. Somehow I knew that this guy was looking for his dead wife, who was "buried" in one of these cement rooms. He didn't know which one it was supposed to be, but he had to look for the one with "the rose growing out of the crack in the wall". I specifically remember hearing someone tell me that, but I don't think that anyone was around. It was almost like narration or something.
I then looked in front of me and saw that the house I was standing behind was the one that he was looking for because one of these pink carnation looking flowers (those are what the roses looked like to me in my dream) was growing out of a hole in the wall that was at about eye level. I then saw this guy approaching from my left, and he was comparing his flower that he was carrying to the many that looked just like it on the other houses. He was looking for the one growing out of the hole. I believe then that I asked him if his wife's name was June and I think he told me it was Joan. I think I then mentioned that "in real life, her name is June" and he was like "oh, okay". (???)
I then turned and ran through the lightly wooded area behind me to the road that was up on the hill. There was a guy on a tractor or something up there, and he was being chased. I then climbed up onto the tractor with him and I saw that he had some small thing with him, but I can't remember what it was (although I knew at the time exactly what it was, and it seems that it was maybe some sort of small alien or something, but now it just looks like a croissant to me). That thing was why he was being chased, and so we turned and hauled ass down the hill between the trees and losing whatever was chasing us.
I then got off the tractor at the bottom of the hill and met up with the guy that was looking for his wife. He had finally found the house I had been standing behind and found that it was the one he had been looking for. I think he then opened some sort of door on the right side of the concrete enclosure, and he handed me the rose and told me I had to do some sort of chant with it to be able to go in. I was fearful about doing it because I was afraid I was going to see something that was scary to me, but I ended up doing it anyway.
After I did, I looked off to my left, and there was a window there. I could see inside, and it looked somewhat like a library, and I saw this tall and thin girl in there. Her face looked somewhat like Sissy Spacek, but I asked her if she was Christine (tall girl from elementary school). I think she said "no", but I think she ended up letting us in anyway. When I went inside, it was very much like a small and cramped library, and there were several women in there, and I realized that they were all dead! It was like some sort of spirit library in there.
After looking around briefly there in the front, I went to the back and through a doorway that took me into an old room that looked like a cross between Pleasant Valley Church's library and some sort of stage. I became fearful of that room for some reason, and I think it was because that guys wife was in there, but I couldn't see her or something, so I ended up leaving again.
I went back out into the main part of the library and up to the front desk and I had some chit-chat with the ladies there for a little while. I was then getting ready to leave, and one of them (an older dark haired lady) put up her hand for me to touch. When I touched her hand, at first it seemed almost like jello, like I was going to pass through it, but then her hand was more solid, and I was surprised that for being a spirit, she was so solid. She was amazed to feel warmth again (from my hand) and I commented that she did not feel cold as I had expected. I think it was at this point that I left and that my dream ended.
