Killing of the Japanese Cranberry Phone Gods

This one started out, and I was doing a backwards fly-over of Japan, and there was some voice talking about how the people of the land were having such troubles. I don't remember exactly what it said the troubles were, but there was something in there about the telephones and the cranberry trees.

As I was doing this backwards fly-over, I was looking around, and I saw many people on the very steep, but very lush, mountain sides carrying around baskets, but having trouble walking, and stumbling over the terrain and each other. I think that they were gathering the cranberries. Almost all of them were wearing white (or very light colored) garbs and the rice-patty hats (or whatever they're called).

Then I was suddenly in an elevator heading up to the top story of one mountain with a bunch of scientists or something. When we got up there, we found out that what was causing all these problems with the people were the gods that had taken over this mountain. I saw one of the people I was with go and try to defeat one, and they told me that their bodies were easy to beat, but their spirits (I think) were not. After the bodies were gone, there was this little mean looking piece of v-shaped rice with nasty eyes. When the scientist tried to smash something on top of it, it ended up somehow repelling whatever the scientist was using and then somehow killed him. Me and the others quickly hurried back down the elevator.

When I got down there, I made one walk around the building/mountain and when I came back to the elevators, there were two of them, and there was a person in each one. A female was on the left, and a male was on the right. They were in their late teens to early 20's. The guy was talking about how he had gone up and tried to defeat the gods, but he had gotten so scared of their "mean looking rice" that he wasn't able to get out of the elevator. Evidently it was the same case with the girl, although I don't remember her saying anything.

I then got in the elevator with the guy, and we went back up to the top. He was planning on fighting the rice again. When we got back up there, we both left the elevator, and I followed him. He ended up finding the rice, and somehow did something that made it so that he could smash it and kill it.

I then picked up the dead piece of rice and went into a laboratory which had a lot of scientific paraphernalia. I looked around, trying to figure out what to do with the dead rice and found a jar full of them. So I picked it up and opened it and put the one I had with me in there, and then closed it back up.

I then headed home, which was to mom's and Pat's (step-father) house. I went to go in to the kitchen door, and it was very early morning time. I thought that everyone would be asleep, but when I started in the door, I saw mom there eating breakfast (she was sitting at the end of the table closest to the stove). She was wearing her purple tank top thing that she normally wears around the house. She turned and saw me coming in, and I think she was upset that I had been gone all night and that I was still up.

Then all of a sudden, Aunt Irene and either Eric or Matthew (brothers) were in there with mom, eating breakfast as well. Aunt Irene was now where mom had been, Mom was on the side to Aunt Irene's right, and Matthew or Eric was on her left. Aunt Irene was started talking about how Brian (her son) had been staying up late, too, and sleep a lot during the day. I then tried to make up some story about that I had been in the attic killing spiders, and that's what the jar was from. I ended up leaving, but I'm not sure where I went because I think that's where it ended.
