About the first thing I remember is that I'm in a tractor trailer on Interstate 81 with Mike (manager at Papa John's) and he's driving us north on a rainy day. I was sort of sitting there watching how he was driving, and he was explaining some of it to me. He then asked me if I knew how to drive it. I'm not sure what I said, but he ended up having me to try to switch the gears. The gearshift had 3 or 4 buttons on the far side of it (where one's fingers would sit if they were on it) and it turned out that those were the clutches, and depending on which one you held down, it would switch it to a different gear for the same position as another button. (meaning that if I used the farthest left button and put the gear shift into the upper right position, it would be in third gear, but if I used the second button, that would make it 7th gear, and so having the total of 4 buttons, there were 16 gears in the truck) I tried to do this, but for some reason I wasn't doing a very good job with it. I think that maybe I didn't know what gear the truck was in already, so I didn't know which clutch to use. I think that I must have somehow got it, and all of a sudden I was sitting in the drivers seat of the truck.
I ended up driving onto this campground and I almost ran the truck into the river, which happened to be inside some building. The trailer ended up swinging around, though, and hit against some pole that was there, and whatever we had in there fell out and into the river. I don't know what it was, but I remember knowing that it weighed 600 pounds, and I didn't know how we were going to get it out.
The next thing I know, I'm out of the truck and I'm on the campground with this group of people who were all pretty familiar to me. They may have been people from work or school or something, but I'm not sure. I know that two of them were Robin and Natalie. (both from work)
I went down to that building that the river was in, and I went in and looked down by the pole into the water, and sure enough, there was that thing that had fallen out of the truck. I was getting ready to reach down into the water and pull on this rope that was attached to it, and I realized that me, Robin, and Natalie were all naked. I was trying not to look at them (especially Robin because I kept thinking "Yuck, she's older than my mom!")
After a moment I went to try to reach down into the river again and I was afraid of what might be in the river. (such as life forms of whatever kind, or gross debris or something) As I looked closer at the river, I realized that it was a man made river, and that the walls were made out of cement, and that it was somewhat like a pool, although the water was flowing in from one side of the building, and out the other side.
I stopped and looked around for a moment, and I took some notice to the building I was in. The bank I was on was completely flat, but slanted at about 10 or 15 degrees, and there was a big frosted window on the wall opposite of me, up about 20 feet or so. The building was about 30 to 40 feet tall at the sides, and where the roof peaked, it was probably about 50 feet.
I then refocused my attention to the thing in the water. I leaned out and rested my left shoulder against the pole (which was about a foot and a half from the banks edge) and I reached down and took hold of the rope. I thought again on the weight of this thing, and even though I knew that it was 600 pounds, I knew that if I concentrated, that I could lift it out. So I started pulling on the rope, and it came out just fine. I think I set it up on the bank, and then went back outside to the rest of the group. I think that either me or Natalie or Robin was telling them about how I lifted this thing out of the water, and everyone thought that was pretty cool.
