There was something about Sarah (ex-girlfriend) calling me and telling me that her and her family were going to Ocean City for something for Biology or something like that. For some reason I decided to get my family to go, too.
While I was out there, I think I had to catch a crab or a spider or something. I finally got one and took it onto the house we were staying in, and I was in a room that looked a lot like Nick's (step- brother) room at his apartment. I remember looking between the front two legs of the thing (it was only about the size of a locust) and seeing two little teeth coming out of a little hole.
For some reason it looked a lot like it was in between my fingers, and that kept coming up throughout the dream, but when I saw it in that perspective, it didn't scare me, really. I think that I figured out that I had to feed the thing, so I ended up finding a bug, that had just been something else (I don't remember what, but it was something very familiar) but it had just turned into the bug.
After a little bit the bug was on it's back and it wasn't moving much, and I had the spider (it was no longer a crab) in a little jar that it barely fit in (and it was about the size of half a film container). I was trying to get the spider to eat the bug, but it wouldn't or it couldn't catch it or something. Then I decided to try to get the bug onto the lid of the jar and somehow put the lid on without touching it because I didn't want to touch the bug or the spider. I think I had a pair of tweezers that I was trying to use, but either the jar or the lid kept flipping over and it would go too far or not far enough to get them together.
After a little bit, I think the bug actually flipped itself and the lid onto the jar, and the spider started to get to it. I called someone in to take a look at it because I was so proud, but before I could get the thing screwed on, it fell off again. I think that the spider tried the same trick, but it just missed completely, or the exact same thing happened that happened before. This happened several times.
Then I think that before I could get the two put together, we had to leave. We were on a speedboat and I was trying there to get the lid with the bug put on again, but it just wouldn't go without my touching it directly, and I wasn't about to do that.
