I remember being out in the kitchen here at The Commons (apartment in Savannah), and I heard someone at my door. At first I thought it was Brin (the noisy girl downstairs) saying something about my handicapped sign that I had on my door. The the door opened, and it was Matthew (brother), not Brin. I asked him what he was doing here, because they weren't supposed to be here for another day. He said that they had decided to come down a day early instead. I was kind of in terror about this, because I hadn't done anything to get my apartment ready for moving yet. I hadn't done any clean-up or anything, and here my family was here to help me move over to the new house.
I was trying to think of some way to make it so my parents wouldn't come up and see my place looking so bad, but I couldn't think of what to do. I thought of sending them over to the new place, but there wasn't any electricity or water in there yet, and so I couldn't do that. The next thing that I remember was that I was out in the kitchen again, and mom and Pat (step-father) were out on my screen porch. I guess they had seen my place by then, and as I looked into my room, I saw Matthew lying on my swivel chair, which was up on my bed for some reason. Mom then started saying something to him and trying to get him off the chair, but I don't remember why. I think that she felt that he was being lazy or something, but I'm not sure why she was even so worried about it. It wasn't like anyone was trying to do anything. We were all just hanging around and relaxing anyway.
