Ceremonies and Cockpits

I was at work (Merillat), and it was during first shift. I think I saw Diane (lady from work) there, and that's what made me realize what shift I was on. There was something about taking a break for lunch. There was also something about being out in the parking lot in my truck (but I don't really have a truck) and trying to leave, but I'm not sure if I was able to for some reason.

I think, then, about the next thing was that I was at this house, and I was on a bus, and the 'class' I was with had just arrived there. We were supposed to go inside and do something, like it was a field trip or something. So I got off the bus and went in, and there was something to do with finding these long fluorescent light bulbs and taking them around through various parts of this house to do something with them.

Then the last thing to do with the lights, we were supposed to go into this room that was white, and I think it had a glass ceiling or something, and we were supposed to have this ceremony with these lights to 'bury' them or something. I think we actually were supposed to take them in there, go through the ceremony, and then crunch them flat to 'send them on their way'. Well, for some reason, I missed the time I was supposed to do it, and it turned out that this girl from work (I don't know her name) did, too. We were standing there at the door to this room waiting for it to be opened again because it was only open at certain times, and we HAD to go through this ceremony before leaving.

So, as we were standing there I leaned over and kissed the right side of her head. She got all happy and said how much she liked that, so I did it again. Then she got even happier, and said something to me about it being her turn or something like that, and then she planted on right on my lips. I actually felt it! (I hardly feel anything in my dreams) Then for the rest of the time we were kind of giggly and cuddly.

Then the door finally opened, but just because the next group was in. They weren't supposed to go in yet because they had to do the other stuff with their bulbs first, and they were surprised that we hurried in as soon as the doors were open. Steve (supervisor from work) was there, and I don't think he was too happy about our going in right away. So we hurried and did our stuff with the bulbs, and then we ran back out and looked for out bus among all the others.

We finally found it, and we sat back in our seats. I saw that she wasn't sitting with anyone, and I was going to ask her if I could sit with her, and it was like I sensed that she wanted me to, but then Kim (a white haired girl from school) came in and sat with her. Then Jamie (a tall guy from school) was in the seat behind me talking to someone in the seat right across from me. The short girl from work was sitting right behind that person. I was wanting Kim to move out of the seat so I could sit there, but then she got right up in my face and started making faces at me. We went back to work.

As soon as we got to work, we went inside, and for some reason a lot of the lights were out. There was this metal platform that we had to go across to get into the main work area, and it turned out that it was electrified, and when you stepped on it, it forced you over into the work area, and you wouldn't be let back out. I didn't want to go on the platform, but I saw several other people doing it and I was watching them get shocked by it. Some were trying to run and jump, and most didn't make it, although there was this one big guy who did get across without being shocked.

Then I remember being down in the work area, and there were these big robots on either side of the aisle, and I was worried about what they were going to do. Then I remember seeing Carey (another girl from panel lay-up room at Merillat) and she had a machine that had a single leg that was huge and mechanical. It went around in complete vertical circles, and at the end where a foot should be it had this blade that it ran on. The blade would strike the ground and the leg would lift her way up and then as she went over, she'd drop back down again.

There was something about all of us having to get outside, and I had one of these things, too. For her, she was hitting a lot of the stuff overhead when the leg would go up behind her and go up over her. For me, though, I was trying to be careful about not hitting anything, especially as we went up this flight of stairs that was right at the door.

There was also something about getting these legs up to speed, and you wouldn't drop all the way back down. It was like it would spin around so fast that the leg would come all the way around and catch the ground and lift the thing up again before the 'cockpit' or 'passenger' had time to hit the ground, kind of like it was hopping.

Then we finally made it outside, and when we did, there was something about a bomb up with a balloon, and so Carey used her 'leg' and chopped the string that was holding the two (with the blade at the end of the thing), and the bomb dropped to the ground right by her, and we were all saved. There was also something about milling around some more and trying out these things, and I think there was also something about being in a little more trouble for something, but I don't remember what it was.
