Mowing Yard And Ordering Pizza

I started out approaching Mike's (former step-father) house. I went in the door by the driveway and went back into the old kitchen. It seems that the old kitchen and the new kitchen were both functioning, and mom was using the old kitchen for cooking.

I forget what she was cooking, but at one point she was boiling something and it kept boiling over. She finally gave up on whatever it was and resigned to going and sitting in the old dining room and being upset about trying to figure out what we were going to eat. I wound up suggesting to her that we could order from Domino's. She said no, that it would be too expensive because Nicole (cousin) was coming over, as well as Uncle Rollin and a couple of other family members. I told her about the deal where if you order at least three medium pizzas, then they're just $5 each. She hadn't realized that, and she agreed that it was a good idea. So she went to the phone to order the pizza.

While she did that, I went back out the front door to the driveway. Nicole had shown up, but she was a younger version of herself, probably about 19 or so. (she's actually probably close to 33 or so in waking life) She came in and we chatted for a moment and then she went off to find mom.

I wound up going outside, past the end of the house where the kitchen was, and to the area between the "garden" and the chicken house and garage. I noticed that the grass was really tall, about two or three feet, and so I decided to mow it.

My brother Eric was outside, and we were talking while I was mowing. I think I was trying to help him out with some problem he was having, or maybe I was just trying to talk more confidence into him for some reason. After I finished mowing the yard (which only took a few minutes despite the fact that the yard is over an acre big) we wound up going around to the other end of the house near where the little maple tree used to be.

We were still talking, but I was starting to realize that I had done a really poor job of mowing the yard. I had missed whole strips of grass, or just spots here and there. So there were these areas, some small and some big, where the grass was still two or three feet tall. I didn't want to go back and mow those spots, but I think Eric was telling me that I needed to. I basically told him that I didn't want to, and that was the end of it. We talked for a short bit more before the dream ended.
