Beach Dugouts

I was at a beach, and I was with Eric, Matthew, (brothers) Em, and her parents. Mom may have also been there, but I don't remember for sure. I was sitting on the beach watching the waves, and most of the rest of the family was off to my right. As I was watching, I could see the little bubbles coming up out of the sand where the sand crabs were. I looked closer around me, and I could see where there were some that were pretty close also.

I'm not sure what caused it, but eventually I was sitting in this area that was dug down into the sand that was about two feet deep. It was kind of like my own little sand bunker. I think, actually, at first, I was not in it, but Matthew was. Matthew was pretty young ( eight or nine years old?) and he was acting all depressed or whiny about something, but he wouldn't tell anyone what it was that was bothering him.

Eventually we traded places, and he was back behind the dug out, and I was in it. I was looking around, and I realized that there was a little storage area that ran all the way around this thing on the inside. The sand above it was only about six inches deep up to the surface, but it seemed to support the weight of anyone that walked or sat close by. Just to my right, there was even a little area that was refrigerated. There was a two-liter soda and a gallon of milk in there, and it was poorly hidden behind this raggedy dark red or black cloth that acted as the "refrigerator door". After looking around at this for a bit, the dream ended.
