Mowing, Motorcycles, and Vending Machines

I started out at the Pleasant Valley Church, and I was on a lawn mower. I was mowing around the perimeter of the sidewalk that ran around the church. For some reason, when I wanted to mow, where the parking lot pavement normally was, it was all fresh green grass, and so I was mowing on the OUTER perimeter of the sidewalk.

I was following someone else, and when we got to the side entrance of the church (around by the cemetery. The one that I was used to using), whoever it was decided that I wasn't supposed to follow them anymore. So I turned around and went back towards the front of the church. As I did, I was looking where we had already mowed, and I decided to go back over some spots because we had missed them.

Then as I got near the main entrance, I decided to go across the driveway and mow the area just to the right of the main entrance to the parking lot. (on the left if you were actually driving in towards the church) I was mowing around, and the grass was very tall (6 or 8 inches, and had begun to seed). I made one round, and I was coming around starting the second.

There was a tree right off from the side of the parking lot entrance on the side I was mowing, and when I passed under it the second time, I felt something wet hit the top backside of my head. I thought it was a drop of water from the tree, but when I put my hand back to wipe it off, and I brought it around to look at it, it turned out it was white bird poop. I decided to go inside and wash it off, so I took off towards the front of the church. Roy (from Mercedes) was there, and he was just getting ready to go in. I called out to him to hold the door, and so he did. I went in through the Narthex and into the men's bathroom.

While I was in there, I guess it was break time or something, and one or two other people showed up. I was washing my hands and talking to someone who was a cross between Nick (former step-brother) and Philip (from Mercedes). We talked for a bit while I was washing my hands and he was doing whatever.

While we were talking, Roy came in and was talking to us about iPods. Evidently we shipped them out from the key department, and people were having problems with them springing apart. He showed me one that had come apart, and I said, "wow!" while I examined it. I was supposed to put it back together, and it seems that somehow I knew how to. I never got around to washing off the back of my head. Just my hands.

Then we left the bathroom, and I went outside to mow again. For some reason I got sidetracked, and I never actually got started. I think I realized it was time to go home soon, so I wound up getting my stuff together and going back inside. I approached Roy's desk, and I heard some familiar music playing. Evidently there was a CD I had lent to him or made a copy of for him, and he really enjoyed it, so he ripped it and put it onto his iPod. I don't know how I was able to hear it, but I could.

Then I grabbed a big box of stuff (I don't know what was in it. I just know it was mine) and I was carrying it horizontally. (it was one of the 2 instrument cluster boxes. Normally we have them up on end, but this time I was carrying it flat.) I went and waited in line with the others to leave. Somehow we weren't actually supposed to be leaving yet, but we were all waiting in line anyway. I was behind Chip (from Mercedes), but I remember thinking it was funny/ridiculous because he had let his hair grow out, and it was all nasty and greasy looking, and he couldn't grow any on the top of his head anyway.

Then Ron (supervisor at Mercedes) came out of his office (down near the side entrance to the church) and saw us all standing there. I don't think that he really wanted to let us go, but he decided to anyway. I think he made us agree to come in early on Monday. (this was either Friday or Saturday) We did promise, and then we were allowed to leave.

I got sidetracked and had to situate everything that I was carrying, so the people behind me went around me and left. Finally I was on my way, and I was following Josh (big guy from school) and Lisa (girl who always wore headbands in elementary school) out of the building. They were holding hands, and I remember thinking that Lisa looked pretty good because she had put on some weight and he butt was bigger now.

We all went out the door and into the parking lot. A lot of people were already in their cars and leaving. I got to mine, got in, and went towards the back entrance to the parking lot to leave. I turned right as if I were going towards Stephen's (friend from school) house. Part way down, past the house with the cemetery next to it, the road became a "service road" to interstate 81. There were a lot of stop lights, and I kept running them because the brakes and tires on my car were bad. I was afraid I'd be pulled over, but no cops ever showed up.

I got down to the bottom of all these hills and I was just about to pull onto I-81 when I decided I didn't want to be on the highway with bad breaks and tires. So, I turned around and went back up the hill. I was having trouble going uphill, so I got the Harley-Davidson motorcycle out of my trunk (!) and folded up my car and put that on the back of the engine area under the seat of the motorcycle.

I kept taking off too strongly, and so I kept popping a wheelie. Partway up the hill I came across Russ (from Mercedes), who had pulled off the side of 81 and was talking to me over the guardrail. He was admiring the bike, and I was still hitting the gas. I popped a wheelie right there, and he was amazed I could do that on a Harley. Because he was so amazed, I decided to keep it going, and I finally just bolted right up all the hills. When I got up to the top (which was now a lot like Rt 11 by Rocky's Antique Mall), I turned around and decided to give it another try going down hill.

I pulled off into Rocky's parking lot, and I switched again from the Harley to the car. The wheels on the car were small, slick and soft as I gave them a squeeze, but I decided to stop off at Deno's to get air in the tires. It was on the way down the first hill, so I played it cautiously and went to the other side of the road and then slowly drifted across and to the right, and right into the parking lot. I pulled straight to the back where I saw the air pump at.

All of a sudden Nick/Philip was with me again. We went to the vending machine area (because there was an "air vending machine") and it was in a small room with three or four machines around the walls. There were two women, and blond and a brunette, who were sitting at a small round table and eating and smoking. They worked for Deno's, and so when we got there, they got up and left.

There was one vending machine for flags that was off to my right. There was one for panties that was in front of me and to my right. There was one that was like a combination photo booth and one of those claw grabber games. And then the last one on the left was completely empty, and I knew that was the air pump.

When I was almost ready to go over to the air pump, Nick/Philip starting putting money into the panties machine and pulling out panties one by one. He was throwing them over his shoulder at me and laughing. He thought it would be funny for me to be caught with all these panties. I thought otherwise. I threw them to the ground and went over to the air machine.

I pulled out a handful of change and was trying to get 40 cents. I couldn't quite figure out what I needed to get out of the pile of change for that, but at the same time, the change had me a bit mesmerized. There were a lot of rare and older coins in my pocket. There were a number of Susan B. Anthony dollars, and one or two of them were gold (!) ones. There was also some other old/rare change there, and I never really got around to putting any into the machine.

All of a sudden Nick/Philip freaked out and sounded like he was going to be sick. I turned around, and he was at the photo booth/claw game machine behind me. He was babbling on about something that got left in the machine that was really gross. At first I got this feeling that it was a body part, or an entire body. Somehow I realized that wasn't the case, and only then he was saying something about rotting fruit that was under there that someone had just thrown in there. Somehow I also got a picture of it being a rotten foot in there, but I never saw anything. About the time that we had decided to get out of there, the dream ended.
