Em (wife) and I pulled into a gas station in my car. While I was there, I decided to put some air into the tires while I got gas. (evidently each gas pump had an air hose with it) By the time I got out to start doing the air, there was a Mexican guy who worked for the gas station, and he had already started on checking my tires and putting air in them if they needed it. I was a bit perturbed that he had just started going it without asking me, so I got the other air hose for that pump, and started doing the air myself, just as if he weren't even there.
I unscrewed the valve cover for the front driver's side tire, and put air into it. Even though I didn't check the pressure, I knew that it was okay. Then I went around to do the passenger-side front tire. After I did that one, I acted like I was trying to screw the valve cap onto Em's window to make her giggle. After she giggled, I put it on the tire where it belonged. The Mexican guy was doing the air in the back tires, so I didn't mess with them.
Then after I put the valve cover back on the driver's side tire (for some reason I hadn't replaced it when I finished it, but took it with me to do the passenger side) I got the gas nozzle, put it into my car, and then I got out my check card to put into the gas pump. For some reason there were two conflicting images on the gas pump for how to put the card in. There was a picture of a guy on there, just like there are at the Bank of America ATMs, showing which way the card needed to face. But then there was an image showing where the magnetic strip needed to go. Unfortunately, to follow the one for the strip made it so that I had to turn my card around differently from the picture of the guy on there.
I figured that the strip was what mattered, so I put it in the way that was correct for the strip. It immediately spit my card back out. "That's odd...", I thought, and I tried it again. This time it would barely even start letting my card in before spitting it back out. (kind of like when a dollar doesn't work on a vending machine, and it only goes in a half an inch before stopping and coming back out) I tried it another time or two, and then I looked at the text display. It told me that I needed to go in and talk to Kim, and only Kim, about getting my card working there again.
So I told Em what was going on, and then I went inside. The store was long and narrow, and I came in on the right hand side of the store. The cashier was up at the end of the counter to my far left. It was kind of dark in there because there was all sorts of shelving full of stuff for sale in front of the windows. I was at the end of the line. (there were about 4 people ahead of me)
Somehow, even though I was 20 feet away, I was able to see a name tag that said that Kim, the large older blond lady behind the cash register, was the manager. She had on a white sweater, and her hair was fairly short with big curls, and she had big glasses. There was a shorter and younger woman to her left who had short dark hair, and a somewhat large, but nice, nose. She looked about a year or two older than me. She asked me if she could help me out, and I told her that the gas pump told me to come see Kim and only Kim to get the pump to accept my card again. She said that she could do it, and I told her again what the gas pump said. Kim told her it would be okay for her to do it, so after the other customers were gone, Kim left, and this dark haired woman went up to the cash register.
I gave her my card,, and she told me that she needed my ID, so I gave her some other foldable card, kind of like my insurance card. She took it and started to fill out a half-sheet of thin yellow paper, kind of like the carbon-copy sheets that they give you at Fry's when you bring something in for their service department to check out. At that point, I took a seat in the bench-seat in front of the cash register. I turned to my right and slid back so that my feet were up in front of me and I was facing towards the end of the store I had just come in.
She was hard at work filling out this paper, but she was still talking every so often. She mentioned something about being a lawyer. I said something along the lines of, "Wow, being a lawyer must not be paying very well if you're working here, too.", and she nodded and said, "Yeah, that's about it." Then she was saying something about how there's so many lawyers in the area already, and that they were just all so nice. It jogged my memory of stuff from up north, and because we were in Texas, I was going to say something about some sort of stupid case I had heard about from up north in Maryland or something about people suing for stupid reasons, like because they had gotten stung by a wasp or something.
While I was thinking this, I was leaned back in the seat supported by my hands behind me, and I was pushing myself down the seat an inch or two, an the pulling my self back. I was kind of sliding back and forth, and I noticed that that time that I was wearing my work uniform for Mercedes. Anyway I think I decided otherwise on mentioning the stupid case, and just said, "yeah, it seems that the farther north you go, the worse the lawyers get," and she agreed. Finally she was done filling out the paperwork, and just as I was getting ready to head back out to the car, I woke up.

Covered in Wasps
I was in Mike's (former step-father) house in Virginia, and I was in the old kitchen area. Somehow I had gotten a bunch of wasps all over me. At first I didn't seem to notice, and I was just going about whatever it was that I was doing. I was crouched down doing something, but I'm not sure what. Either while I was down there, or after I got up, I realized that I had all these wasps on me. I wasn't really scared, but I didn't want them on me, either.
As I stood up and walked around, some of them flew away. I didn't want to make any sudden movements (such as swatting at them or trying to kill any of them) because I knew that if I did, it would cause them to sting me. Someone else was there (perhaps Matthew, my brother) and I think they wanted to help me, and I wanted them to help me, but at the same time, I was afraid that if they did, it would cause the wasps to sting.
As I wandered around the area trying to think of what to do, more and more of them flew away. I remember one crawling over my right forearm before it flew away. Finally there was just one left. At this point I started getting really antsy about it being there because it was on my back, and I believe it had gotten into the back of my shirt. Whoever was there with me wanted to lift the back of my shirt and let it out, but I was afraid that they'd move too fast for it, and it would sting me. I was also starting to get afraid that my getting antsy was going to cause it to get disturbed and sting me. Finally it made it's way out of my shirt and flew away, and I felt really relieved.

Getting Graded on my Crochet Skills
I was in a class of some sort where I was supposed to be graded on my crocheting skills. We basically had one class period to make a specific project that incorporated certain things, such as edging, and a written description of what we were doing and why.
I started making a scarf "like I had made for Em" at home. (I guess that came from how she kept thinking that I was making her a scarf for her birthday) It was in the same colors as her purse that I made for her in real life, and I was doing really well on it, but I believe I kept procrastinating on it or something, because even though I was moving along really fast, when I got to a certain point, I hardly seemed to be getting any work done on it. The other people in the class were the people that are currently at my work at Mercedes Benz (Pete, Don, Russel, Jay, etc...) They were all doing fairly small projects, like socks or dishcloths. Mine was the only one that was big. It was about four feet long and one foot wide. I hadn't gotten the edging done on it yet, but I was bored and looking around.
I was sitting behind a tree that happened to be growing in the middle of the classroom. The classroom was a bit like being in the Deku forest in Zelda Windwaker. It was inside of this big natural rock tower, and there were all sorts of plants and such growing all around, but it was still laid out like a classroom with tables and chairs and the teacher's desk and such. I'm not sure who the teacher was.
Anyway, after slowing down on my project for a while, I actually got up and left. I went to find Nick (former step-brother) in the "Science Room" in Fort Defiance High School. It was a room across from where Mr. Metalfe's (chemistry teacher) room was (on the top floor, last room on the right if you're walking from the library to the end of the school) Nick was in there working on some sort of science project that was like a little house or building made out of white painted metal (kind of in the same style as some old toys from the '50s) and it was supposed to wind up and do something, like light up and play music or something. We talked for a short bit, and then we both went back to my classroom where I kept working a little more on the scarf.
I was almost ready to turn it in, so I did the little bit of writing about it, and got ready to turn it in. I then realized that I hadn't finished off the current color, and that I still needed to do the edging. I started to do a little bit of the edging, and I realized that Nick was gone again. I went and spoke briefly with my teacher (or maybe I just went to see where he was in the process of grading and trying to figure out how long it would be until he got to mine) and then I left again to go find Nick. When I went back to the science room, Nick was not there, but there was some dark haired woman (kind of a nicer looking version of the fortune telling teacher in Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban, which we just saw yesterday) working on his project for him. It was kind of like the teacher, but not really.
I watched her working on Nick's project for a bit, and I think I was talking to her about it. I think she was explaining to me how it worked or what it was supposed to do. I then realized I needed to get back to my classroom and finish my project because the day was about to end. I think she went with me, and when we got there, there was hardly anyone in the room (whoever it was happened to be somewhere around the perimeter of the room, but not in the middle of the room around any of the tables or desk) and I saw my [kind of unfinished] project with the hook still in it, along with my writing about it sitting on the teachers desk. He had gotten it from my desk/table and graded it already, but he wasn't around to tell me what my grade was. As I wondered where he had gone to (it seemed he was still around, but just not right there at the moment) the dream ended.

Moving to Tennessee
Em (wife) and I start out in Virginia/Maryland from seeing our parents. It seems that we may even live there again, and we decide that we want to move to Tennessee. We are just in our car, and we're driving along one of the interstate highways, and I realize that my ears are popping like crazy because we're going up a mountain. It didn't look like we were, though, and so that's why I didn't realize it until my ears started popping.
Finally we come to the ridge of the mountain, and we have to go down the other side. There's a visitor's center at the top, (kind of like the Afton Mountain area, even though that's in the wrong direction for us to be going in real life) and I believe we stopped off there for a short bit to prepare for the rest of the drive. We talked shortly to some guy there, and he was asking us where we were going. We told him we were moving to Tennessee, and pointed and basically said, "In that direction."
Something started to look strange about going down the other side of the mountain, and I think the guy mentioned it, but we got into the car and went anyway. As we got to the road, we looked, and the road essentially went straight down, but kind of like a spiral staircase. We started down the steep road, going to the right, and then only about 20 feet later, it wound around to the right and made a 180 degree turn, all the while going down.
Em was very scared, and I wasn't too happy about this either. Even though there were guardrails all around us, the we didn't feel safe. We had a lot of trouble seeing the road either because it was too steep (so it disappeared down in front of my hood) or it would get really foggy in places and we couldn't see two feet in front of us.
We crept down very slowly, but we finally made it. When we got down to the bottom, we pulled off and parked, got out, and looked back up, and it only went straight up about 100 feet or so, but we were definitely at the bottom. We were glad to be done with that, and we were able to look into the direction of our destination, and see for miles and miles and miles. It seemed to stretch on forever. We got back into the car and continued our drive.

Clothes in the Toilet, Ship Hotel Tour, and an Alien Exorcism
Em (wife) and I are in Maryland visiting her parents. Soon after we get there, we have our stuff in the closet in what was our room before we moved. We came back from being out for a bit, and her mom had gone through our stuff in the closet and straightened it all out. I was a bit upset that her mom and been poking around through there, and I went to go tell Em about it.
When I got downstairs, there were some of their cousins over to visit, and I couldn't find Em. I had to go to the bathroom, so I went into the one by the kitchen. (which wound up being about as big as the kitchen itself) The toilet was in the middle of the room, and Marilyn (mother-in-law) had taken some of our clothes (a fleece jacket, a couple of shirts and jeans, and a pair of my flannel pants) and laid them across the open toilet. They had started to sag down and get wet in the toilet bowl. I was a bit upset, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. When I lifted up the clothes, I saw that there was poop floating around in the toilet, and I was so disgusted that I took the clothes, and I pushed them down into the bowl harder to make the poop get smeared on the back side of them. Then I left again to go let Em know that her mom had put all that stuff there, but I was also going to tell her that her mom had gotten the poop all over the clothes, too, making it worse than it actually was.
We wound up leaving, and as we were driving, we came through the Afton Mountain area in Virginia. We were right at the I-64/Rte 250 crossover where the hotels and resorts are. One of them was a big mall/hotel that looked like the smokestacks of a huge ship. Em and I decide to go in and do the tour of the place.
We are with a group, and they have flashlights for each of us. The whole place was made up like a ship, but rather than having all the intricate parts hidden, everything was made of glass so that you could see inside of it and see all the inner workings that were made of metal and wood. I think we wandered off a bit from the tour group and did some exploring on our own.
Finally, we wind up in this classroom that is underground. It was a bit like being in a sewer area, and we were all up on the "ledge", and it was lit with some strange green and blue light at various accent points. One of the guys there had been abducted by aliens, and I think he was telling us about it.
Then the teacher started going around, and was doing a faith healing thing, but it was supposed to be like an exorcism where she got any of the foreign alien "stuff" out of the people in the room, whether or not they said they had been abducted. We're all sitting on the floor, but Em was laying on the floor to my left. She wasn't laying straight, but kind of all curved around in front of me, too, with her hands up over her head and her legs bent away from me. The teacher comes up to her and does the exorcism thing on her, and just as she finishes, she tells Emily that we must not touch each other yet.
While she's working with Em, she tells the other girls in the room to get ready, although she didn't specify for what. As soon as she's done with Em, the teacher gives the okay to the other girls, and they lean in close to me and put one or both hands on me. They evidently are doing the exorcism on me because I had been abducted by aliens, too.
I feel my eyes close, and I start to get that fast moving sensation that I get in dreams sometimes. This time, though, it was a spinning sensation. I started spinning faster and faster (inside myself, like my soul spinning inside my body) and I feel myself knowing that I need to stay there, but I wind up waking up. Even though I just woke up, I can feel the disappointment of the group because I didn't stay for the finish of the exorcism, and so it didn't wind up working for me.

Hiding In the Woods With a Diseased Body
My dream started out with me driving down 256 to Weyers Cave, and it was getting ready to storm out. There was a bit of lightning, and the clouds were fairly dark, but there was no rain yet. Just wind.
I wound up going back to Grandmamma's house, and I was heading down towards the dairy barn, and I met up with someone that reminded me a lot of Philip from Mercedes. It wasn't actually him, though, but just someone who was thin with lots of curly hair, and a little shorter and younger than me. It turned out that this guy had some sort of nerve disorder, like Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis or something. We are walking along, and we're out in some bright and sunny wooded area. While we're walking around, I somehow figure out that I have the same disease that he has, although I didn't feel any different, and neither one of us seem hindered in our movement at all.
We were walking down towards this gully/valley sort of area that was shaded pretty well for the few trees that it had in it. He was telling me where he hides when "they start coming after him". I don't know who "they" are, or why they would come after him, but I got the idea it was a cross between a group of bullies and a group of some sort of agents. I don't think he actually showed me where he hid, but he told me, and I knew how to get there from that.
I'm not sure what happened next, but suddenly he's nowhere to be found, and this group is now coming after me. I know that he is hiding in his secret spot, and I decide not to go there because then I'll draw them to him, and that would be bad. I think I just finally outran these guys long enough that they gave up for the time being. He came out, and I told him why I didn't go and hide there with him. He thanked me, and then he told me that he had a second place to hide, and that I could use that one. I said okay, and he told me it was through a cave in the shadows.
We go a short ways up this hill, and about halfway up, there is this big shady area with lots of growth, kind of like several bushes all together. He crawls through them, and I follow him, and he goes into this little tunnel/cave that's about two feet high. It's just big enough to crawl through on your stomach, and it's about ten or so feet long.
As he starts going in, I see him going through and knocking all these spider webs and spiders out of the way. I think he may have crushed a few, too, while he was going through, but on the other end of this cave was supposed to be a big open area kind of like a grotto of some sort, that was just as beautiful and peaceful as the area he was hiding in before, but the dream ended before I could make myself go through all those spiders and webs.

Bodies at the Old House, and Self-Sewing Spinning Pants
The dream started out somewhere out in the woods, or in a wooded area. There was some sort of body of water around, like a small pond or river, but it was more like a moat that ran around this little area. These woods weren't out in the open, but kind of like in a rock cavern. When things were first starting out, I was around towards the back of this area, off to the right. There was some sort of table or something nearby, and I saw this body laying on the floor. I was upset because I didn't want to see it, and no one had warned me it was there.
I came back around, and there was a woman there on my side of the moat. She seemed scruffy and kind of redneck like. Evidently she had killed this man. Somehow this was supposed to be like a movie, and the one that comes to mind is Texas Chainsaw Massacre, even though it was really nothing like it.
There was some back and forth stuff going on, and at some point, this other guy showed up. He was supposed to be with this girl, and somehow involved in the killing. It seems like I kept going back and forth, trying to talk to these two people, kind of like I wanted them to let me go, but also to turn themselves in, but nothing much seemed to work.
Finally a cop/sheriff showed up across the moat, and was trying to talk them over. They still wouldn't go, and for some reason, even though the water was only about 5-10 feet wide, the cop wouldn't come over and get them. There were several exchanges of words, but it was like the girl kept looking for a way to keep the cop over there, even though he was making no effort to come over to our side. At one point, there was something about the woman throwing something into the water, kind of like a fishing bob or something, but it was also supposed to be a part of her.
Unfortunately the dream kept going, but I cannot remember any more until much later, which is basically a new and different dream. There was something in between about getting out, going to mom's old house (grandmamma's house), but being in or around one of the barns. There was something strange and supernatural going on (kind of like the thread/pants spin thing a little later), and after that is when I actually went into the house and had the remainder of the dream.
I was at mom's old house (grandmamma's house), and there were a bunch of relatives there. I was in the living room, but something about it was changing. It was like it started out being more similar to the lower level of Borders bookstore in the Annapolis Mall, but it kind of morphed and solidified into the living room. I was on the right side of the living room (if entering from the dining room) just inside the french doors. The sofa was right there, and I was there with mom, Matthew (brother), and Aunt Irene. There were a bunch of other people at the house because of some big event going on (like Christmas or something).
At one point, I found something like a big knitting needle, about two feet long, and three spools of tan thread. I somehow attached them to the needle, but somehow they didn't unravel. Aunt Irene then told me about putting the needle tip on the floor, and if it starts spinning, then that was just like how they "knew for Sean." (my cousin) I'm not sure what they knew, but it was supposed to be a good thing. So I put the needle tip on the rug, and off it spun. It was actually going really fast, and somehow I knew that it didn't go that fast for Sean.
I turned away for a bit to show aunt Irene, and the next thing I know is that I have a new pair of khaki pants in hand. I showed them to her, thinking that it was pretty cool that had happened, but I noticed that the pants were short and not quite done. I put the needle and the pants back on the rug, but they didn't want to spin anymore, so they must have been done.
I then showed them to Em (wife), thinking that she could wear them for Matthew's graduation. She said that she couldn't because they were too long. I held them up to myself, and they were indeed too long. I told her we could hem them, but she declined. I was trying to figure out what to do with them and what it all meant when my alarm went off and woke me up.
