Track Practice and Ice Cubes

I was at my old high school, and I was supposed to be there for track and cross country running practice. It was a bit of an odd thing because I knew I had already graduated years ago, but I was there anyway.

So I wound up leaving the gymnasium area with some of the people from school that I ran track and cross country with, and we were running around the school grounds and various areas just beyond. It was strange because there was a lot to the surrounding areas. It was almost like an amusement park or city park type of area rather than the open fields and hills that I knew in waking life.

As I ran, I found I was able to run using huge strides, which allowed me to go very fast, and I was able to do it for long periods of time. I was surprised that I wasn't getting tired out like I thought I would, but I just kept going with it and enjoyed it.

There were others that were faster than me and others that were slower, and the path that we were running wound back on itself in various places. So I wound up passing people that were running the opposite direction from me because they had either already looped around or I had. The path seemed to go through these areas where there were very tall pine trees on the side of a hill, and there were gravel roads or dirt paths for us to run on. There were also strange features around, kind of like large fountains or something.

After we were done running, I wound up making my way back to the locker room. While I was in there, I wound up having a great need for ice cubes. I think I was throwing them or something, but I just know it seemed like I really needed them.

I then left for a while, like I either went to class or went home or something, but then I came back do the gymnasium area again later for P.E. class. I hadn't changed yet and I wound up asking some of the girls that were there in the gym already about the ice cubes. They started kind of joking with me and making fun of me for needing the ice cubes. They weren't doing it in a mean way. It was like we were all good friends and they were just picking on me, and I was laughing about it, too.

It turned out that the only place there was an ice machine was in the girls' locker room. I guess I didn't really see that as being a big deal, and so I wound up going in there to look for it. There were some girls in there just standing or sitting around and talking. No one was changing or anything. They laughed when they saw me in there, and I was acting goofy like I was trying not to look at them even though I knew they weren't undressed at all.

I eventually found the ice machine by the bathroom, and I think the dream ended before I even got out of the locker room.
