I've been in this area many times in my dreams, and it varies each time how it appears to be. At one point we had walked to a particularly clear area on the top of a hill and we were just looking around at all the scenery. Suddenly I heard a military jet zoom overhead, and I looked up and around to catch a glimpse of it as it passed by. Instead, when I looked up, I saw a passenger jet plane, like a 747 or something, that had exploded in mid air and was passing over us left to right. It wasn't as high up as most of those types of planes fly. Instead it was a bit closer, so that it looked to be about the size of a hot dog in the sky.
The section between the wings and the tail had exploded and cut the plane into two pieces. It was still going through the sky pretty quickly, but you could tell that it was also dropping quickly. It was odd in that the tail was spinning around in all sorts of directions, yet it was keeping pace and a close distance to the plane. There was lots of smoke flowing out of the front part of the plane. As I was watching that in horror, I heard a second boom, which this time sounded more like a traditional sort of explosion instead of a jet zooming overhead at great speeds, and I looked over to the left of the first plane. A second plane had just exploded in the same manner, and I realized that this was turning into 9-11 all over again. I knew that it had to be terrorists that were doing this.
After I saw this happen, I realized that I was now standing on top of a large skyscraper in a big city and watching this unfold. I almost vaguely feel that I remember the skyscraper popping up and the environment changing around me. Anyway, Em and I quickly ran back to mom's house to take cover and find out what was going on.
Shortly after we get there, I realized that there were a lot of people in the house. I think I realized that President Bush was in the house, and he was supposed to be giving some sort of press conference about the terrorist attacks. The house had kind of the feel of Mike's (former step-father) house, but the layout was different. The layout was like Scott's (best friend from elementary school) house. You walk into the living room, there are windows facing out the front to your right, and there's two entrances to the kitchen. One right in front of you as you walk in, and the other off to the right at the end of the living room. There was a hallway to the left that led to the bedrooms. The feel was a lot of VERY dark wood, but not rich in color, kind of like dark cheap wood paneling from the late 70s or early 80s. Bush was in the living room with his secret service men, the media people, and whatnot, and I wasn't allowed to see him. I had to be pushed back into the dining room and kitchen area while he gave his press conference.
