And The Earth Shall Burn

I was out on the surface of some planet. At first it seemed like it was all red rock, almost like it was Mars or something. The next thing I knew, everything went ablaze, and it was all on fire. The rocks, the sand, and even the air was on fire. Everything looked like a big mass of flame, but the flames seemed to retain the shape of the items that they consumed. It was as if the flames were actually just replacing the items in shape and form. I started to worry about how everything was being destroyed and being consumed in it all.

Suddenly it was as if I was just watching it on a large movie screen. I wasn't really sitting close to it, but my point of view seemed like it was very close to it, but it was slowly backing away. Finally I was sitting in my seat, but there was some light coming in from doors or windows or lights or something. I think the light came from somewhere behind me, or a bit off to my right.

I came to realize that the movie had ended, and the theater full of people needed to have something else to watch, so I had my DVD copy of South Park: The Movie. They put that in for us to watch on the screen. I think that someone then mentioned something about trying to find out who had the copy because it wasn't supposed to be copied. I got a bit worried, and I think I tried to make some excuse about it, but I don't remember what I tried to say about it. I eventually managed to get it back and leave.

When I left, I found that I was in the Harrisonburg Mall Theater. I walked out and turned left and went out of the end of the mall hallway. I seemed to be trying to catch up to some girl that was also leaving the theater. She was kind of short, but about my age. She had dark hair cut shoulder length, and she had on some sort of heavy winter coat. It wasn't fur, but it seemed fuzzy in some way. I don't really know why I was trying to catch up to her, but there was something about I was supposed to be leaving with her and going somewhere. I started to feel
guilty about going with her, and I think I even turned her down on leaving with her. Actually, I'm not even sure that she wanted me to go with her, and that may have had a hand in my decision. Either way, she was someone that I knew. After chasing after her out to her car and talking with her for a short bit, the dream ended.
