Exploring the House In A House

I was with Stephen (from school) and his dad, and we were in their house, and one of them was telling me how they were scared to go into their grandfather's house (although I thought that they meant the room that he had been staying in). I think we opened up the door and went in anyway, and it was like everything had been left like the way it had been at the time he had died.

There were two rooms there, and to get to the farthest one, you had to go through the first because there wasn't another door in the other one. So we went into those rooms, but then all of a sudden we were going into another house, and they were talking about this one being their grandfather's house, but theirs was built just like this one. I asked which one was built first, but then I realized that was a dumb question, but they answered me anyway. They said that this one was.

So then we went into the room that was the same as his grandfather's at their house, and it was the same way, having to go through the first room to get to the second. Then I think they said something about Howard Armstrong being dead or something, but somehow I think they equated him with their grandfather. (Howard Armstrong was not Stephen's grandfather's name in real life)

So then all of a sudden I was going down these steps that lead to a basement door, and they were talking about how much money he (Howard) had. Then when we got to the basement door, they opened it and we went down the wooden steps. As we were going down, I think that Howard was there, and they were commenting on if he had so much money, why hadn't he gotten a motor to make his stairs go up and down yet.

The basement was really big, and I went off to the right when I got in. There was what looked like coat racks and shelves (like at Pleasant Valley Church) that lined the wall, and there were a lot of hangers and such there. I went all the way to the right and then towards the back, and I was waiting at a door for something. Then I turned back towards the front and went up to talk with the others. They were talking about all the framing wire that was up on the top shelf of the first coat rack, and how Howard (or the grandfather) had used that stuff so much. I think that's about where it ended.
