I don't really remember anything about the dream, but I remember being at Stephen's (friend from school) house. That's it. Heh. But it does trigger the memory of another dream that I don't believe I wrote down from a number of months ago.
I was back in Virginia, and I was traveling. Either I was driving very slowly, or I was walking. I was taking a road that went back past Sarah's (ex-girlfriend) house, and I may have even been leaving her house, but it was a very different house. It was smaller, back in the woods, and not up on a huge hill.
As I left, I was going along the road, and after some time, I took a right at a T that I came to in the road. I went that way quite a ways, and I eventually came to this intersection where there was some woods to my left, perhaps with a house or two in there, and a couple of buildings on my right. One of them may have been a store or a gas station, and perhaps a house or two.
Evidently I kept traveling, and I wound up in this really hilly area. I remember more seeing it from a distance, even though I was down in everything. The road was old and gravel, and it was kind of an old farm appearance. There was an old rusted up car (but I remember white paint on it that had spots on it that had turned a little blue because of the rust (???) showing up underneath it) and a lot of old fence work. I remember being down in the middle of all of this for a short bit, looking around some of the old barn-like buildings and stuff, but eventually I kept going, and I got to Stephen's house.
I went inside, and it seems that I went around quite a bit, almost like Stephen was giving me a tour. I remember something about a room that was a connector to other rooms (much like his room was for the upstairs, being in between the hallway and another room and having a door to both) downstairs, and in this room was a big round wooden table.
I remember looking out into their yard from an upstairs window for a bit. After showing me around, we went back outside, and we were in the yard for a bit. It was very cloudy, and I think it may have been getting dark out. I can't remember if he seemed agitated or if he was just quiet or what, but he didn't seem his normal self.
After a short bit, I think I thanked him, and I left, going back the way I came. I went back through that hilly area, and somehow it struck me that this belonged to him and his family. I kept going, and I eventually wound back up at that T, and I turned left to go back down that way. At this point, I'm fairly sure I was walking and not driving. Eventually this road took me to "downtown" Weyers Cave, and I turned right and went up one of the roads that was supposed to come up from the area where the post office was. Again, it was very woodsy there, and I think I remember something about driving, and going fast, and I went back down the hill towards the post office again.
