The Hit Man Loop

I was hanging around with mom and Matthew and maybe Eric (brothers) and/or someone else, and Matthew was a baby. Even though he was a baby, he could still talk somewhat, and also, he looked more like Eric did as a baby with the big curls and light hair and such. Anyway, at one point Matthew started talking, and he told me and mom that he had a dream that she was going to shoot him. Mom was flabbergasted by this and promised that she never would do such a thing.

Then the next thing I know is that we're in the house, and we find these two black guns that have these knobs on the bottom of the grips, and when mom sees them, she tells me that one of them is the one that she shoots him with. So I take the gun out to the dog building and set it up in a white bowl on a shelf, and then I go back inside. I noticed that it was all grey and stormy outside, and it was somewhat dark, too. It almost felt like I was looking at everything with my eyes half closed.

At some point we realize that there's some sort of hit man out on grandmamma's back porch (at the trailer), and so we feel that we need to hide Matthew. I then take him to the dog building, and I hide him back in the corner under the shelf where I put the gun. I still have one of the guns with me, and so I go and peek around the corner of the house (between the house and the building) and I aim the gun at him and fire. Unfortunately the wind is so strong that I see it carry the bullets off to one side or the other, and no matter how many times I fire, I can't seem to hit him.

I then started advancing towards him (for some reason up to this point he hadn't seemed to have heard the gunshots) and keep firing. Finally one hits him, and he turns around and fires at me with his rifle. I dodge it somehow, and I ran back to the house. I then ran into the dog building and grabbed the gun that I had hidden in there and went and gave it to mom so she could defend herself from the guy.

The next thing I know is that the guy is between the house and the building (and the space is now about 15 feet across instead of 3 or 4 feet) and she fires a couple of shots at him. The first 2 miss, and then he said something to her, and she replied by saying "Sorry Charlie" and firing one that hit him dead on. The bad thing about it was that "Charlie" was the trigger word for the event that Matthew had talked about, and so when she said it, the bullet went through the guy, through the wall behind him, and hit Matthew on the other side.

We thought that the guy was down, so I ran into the building to see if Matthew/Thess was okay. (he was morphing into Thess at this point, as if they were supposed to be the same being) When I got in there, he had changed into Thess, and was trying to run from me because she was scared of the whole thing. I finally got her to come over to me, and I couldn't see where she had been hit. I reached over to pet her and petted her left side, and found she had been hit somewhere around the shoulder or mid-body. I actually felt the stickiness of the blood (which is unusual for me to remember actually feeling things in dreams) and pulled my hand away.

I then ran inside and called 911 for help. I told them what was going on and they thanked me and said they were sending help and then hung up. While I was waiting for them to get there, I found out that the hit man wasn't dead. He wasn't even really hurt. He was chasing me around, and I was firing the guns at him again, but I was having a hard time hitting him. I kept thinking that if I could just get a head shot that I could take him down. I see that he's dressed in some sort of grey suit, and that he has a mustache, and the top of his head is bald, but he has long hair in the back. (he looked a lot like the guy in NYPD Blue)

As I kept getting shots in on him, they didn't phase him at all. The gun, I realized, was sounding somewhat like a BB gun, and didn't feel as powerful as it had earlier. I ended up shooting him numerous times while waiting for the cops and ambulance to get there. At this point he was chasing me around the area at the side of the house (the same side as the bell and garden, out in front of the dog building) and he was talking the entire time about how he was so great and how futile it was of me to try to take him down. I didn't care, and I was going to keep trying.

I thought briefly on trying to get his rifle to take him down with because I knew that would do it, but for some reason I didn't try for it. I don't know if I was scared of him hurting me if I got too close, or if I was scared of really killing him when I DID get it. Anyway, we ended up out front of the house around the driveway area, and somehow he had gotten buried in the ground up to his neck. Only his head was sticking out. Even though this was the case, he was still able to move around from place to place. I was able to get up close to him now to aim the gun directly at the soft flesh of his head, and so I did so, but the bullets didn't seem to be penetrating very well. Most of them would either just get caught in his flesh or they'd bounce off.

I finally decided to run back inside and call 911 again to see where the heck they were at. When I called, they just answered "Hello?", and I had to ask if it was 911 that I was reaching. They told me yes, and so I told them again what was going on and that I needed someone out there to help us out. They said that someone was on their way, and I asked what was taking them so long because it had been a half an hour or so. I don't remember what they told me, but they just repeated that they were on their way out and hung up.

So I went back out the front door, and Bob (driver from Papa John's) was pulling up, and he was waving me back like he was telling me not to go anywhere or something like that. When I got up to his car after he had pulled up and parked, he told me that the 911 people were on their way, and I told him I had called them over a half an hour ago, and they still hadn't shown up. The next thing I knew was that I was heading back into the house from the side door, but I could still hear Bob's voice. He was telling me that they were really busy today and that it was going to take a while for them to get here. While he was telling me this, I realized that my fingerprints were all over everything, but that it didn't really matter because I was acting in self defense.

The next thing I know is that I'm out back in the chicken house, and I was talking to this tall and skinny dark-haired guy with glasses about how some place like the chicken house had been set up as a home. I was telling him that in the winter time it was actually kind of warm because of the big fire over in the corner, and so I didn't have to worry about heat. It was as if I had lived in something like that before and I was telling him about it. He was basically agreeing with me the whole time.

Then Eric and Matthew showed up at the far corner of the outside of the building and were playing or talking or something. Matthew still looked like he did earlier in the dream (very young), and Eric just looked like a 5 year old version of himself. Even though they looked that old, though, they felt older, about like they do now.

Then the next thing I know is that I'm at the side of the house again, and I'm sitting out in the yard with mom, Eric, and Matthew, and mom is sort of holding Matthew. He then tells her again about how he had a dream that she was going to shoot him, and once again she became fearful of the whole thing. I noticed this time, though, that the sky was sunny and clearer, although there were some clouds out and about, but it wasn't the same dark and stormy feel as the first time.

Then the guy ended up showing up again and there was the whole chase thing going on again, but this time it was more of an abbreviated version. This one happened so quickly that I can barely remember it, but I just know it was all about the same as the first time, and eventually I was trying to shoot him in the head with the BB gun things again. He was taunting me again, asking me if I hadn't learned the first time that I couldn't kill him.

I went in and called 911 again, and this time they answered with the same "Hello?" and I had to verify again, and when I told them of my predicament, they told me it was going to be a while before anyone could get to me because of their being so busy today. I got angry and went back outside, and I think this time I did somehow get a hold of the guys rifle, and when I did, I was almost too scared to fire it, but I did.
