Rolling A Ripped Door

I was out in "grading" (an area of the Merillat factory) and I remember that Juanita (an older lady that I worked with at Merillat) was bringing a pallet jack with wood on it back. I remember talking to her and patting her on the back and she was smiling.

Then after she left, I was outside the huge door that rolls up, and I was trying to get it to go up. something happened, though, and it "ripped" down the middle.  It split right in two. So I was still trying to get it to roll up, but it wouldn't go because it was split.

So eventually a couple of people showed up and they were trying to help me.  I think they were a couple of maintenance guys. I remember climbing up the right side of the opening to do something to the door at the top to use ropes or chains or something to hold it in place as we tried to roll it up, but it wasn't working.

Knives and Elevators

At first, I was in a large elevator with one of my friends. He was talking to his grandmother but that elevator was getting ready to leave. The elevator was very large, almost like a cafeteria. Just as the elevator was starting to leave, he said the goodbye to his grandmother and got on the elevator.

The next thing I remember, I was at home in my living room. I knew that there is a woman down at the dairy barn, and she was waiting for a man. The man was coming to get a knife, and he was riding on the back of a horse. They went down to the barn, and I had the knife with me. The woman became very scared, and she told me to leave with the knife. She was supposed to give the man the knife, but she knew that he was a very bad man. He was planning on hurting her.

I had the knife in my hand, and the handle was very long, about one foot long. The blade was only about six inches long. it folded out like a straight razor. When the man got there, I showed him the knife, and he said that it was too long. The woman told me to go away, so I did. When I was leaving and walking up to the house, I knew that he was hurting her very badly, or maybe even killing her.

The Pink Dragon Is Expensive

I was on vacation somewhere for some conference or something, I believe. I had someone with me that I don't recognize now, but in my dream, he was a good friend of mine. It may have been some strange version of Nick. He looked a little bit like Nick and Neal Dillow combined.

We were at this motel to find a place to stay, and the person at the front desk was this woman that works at the Merillat Cafeteria. So she showed me this map that had a floor plan of the rooms, and I could choose that way. The rooms were some ridiculously low price of $20 a night. She also showed me something that had all these animals drawn in cartoon form. Each of the animals were assigned to a room as a "guard" or something, and they each had a price under them. I thought that it was a price for if we had to replace one, or if we wanted to buy one to take with us. (or maybe I thought it was some sort of game that we would win that amount if we had that animal as our guard) So I chose a pink dragon, which had the price of $600 under it. It was the largest on the page, and it was dead in the center of the thing.

So we were there for three or four nights, and then I went back home. Then at some later point not long after that, I went back to the motel with the same person. The guy I was with went in first and she was telling him how there was a special on rooms for $10 a night. I heard that just as I was walking in the door, and I thought that was cool. When she saw me, she said my name and told me something like I owed her $1400 for my previous stay. I told her I didn't understand why, and she told me it was because I had chosen the dragon. I told her that I didn't realize that I had to pay for the dragon too if I wasn't going to keep it. I thought it was prize money. She said that she had forgotten to tell me that I had to pay for the dragon, and that I still owed her the money for it.

I was trying to convince her that I didn't owe her anything because she didn't tell me ahead of time what it was for. She showed me a map, and asked me if that was the room I had chosen. It was a room right in the center of the place. I told her yes (and realized at that point that I had been in the same room before, except it was in a high rise hotel in the middle of a city. It was from a different dream that I don't think I ever wrote down)

So while we were talking this out, there was some sort of cartoon on TV that I was watching at the same time. During this, I was holding up something in front of me that was like a newspaper, but it was a map of the place, and she was trying to explain this thing to me.

After the cartoon was over, I continued with trying to convince her that I didn't owe anything because she should've told me ahead of time, and it wasn't fair of her to say "Well, yeah, I forgot to tell you, but you still owe me the money."

Finally at the end of the dream I was thinking that if she didn't believe me, I was going to get my lawyer in there to make her change her mind. I was trying to decide if I should tell her that I was going to get my lawyer, therefore probably making her change her mind on the spot and let me go with it, or if I should be meaner and not tell her I was bringing my lawyer, and surprise her with him.

He Floated Through The Door

I was up in my room, and I remember hearing a knocking or something just outside my upstairs door. I knew it was some evil guy that was wanting to kill me.

Then the next little thing I remember was being up on this plateau area in a weird and stormy scene (like Death Mountain in "Zelda III")

Then I remember being in my house, trying to do something with the computer. It was very dark because the Touch Lamp was turned on it's lowest setting, and that was the only light. The computer wasn't working so I went to leave.

When I got outside, there were markers and posts and ropes that only let me drive or walk certain places. I had parked in front of the house, and someone was with me. Then something weird was happening with the gears and radio in my car, I think, which was parked out in the little spot in front of the house... and there was something gruesome that either I saw or was afraid of seeing, so I got out and ran back inside.

Then I remember being in my room very early in the morning, so it was just starting to get light out. Either that, or it was a VERY dark and rainy day... Anyway, I was on my bed, and I heard the knocking again. I knew who it was, and when I started to run, this guy "faded" through my door with a knife or something, and he was smiling wildly. He was wearing a dingy yellow and black flannel shirt and dirty jeans. His face was contorted and extremely pointy, almost like a comic book villain. He was trying to kill me, and just as he got to me and was right over me, I think I yelled and woke myself up... thankfully.

Captives and Dictator

I was in a large room that had a brightly colored dome above me, like in some sort of throne room, or possibly an observatory. I was being held captive by some woman. There was a young woman that was being held with me, and she reminded me of the girl that is in "An American Werewolf in Paris", but I don't think it was her. I knew at the time of the dream who it was, but it now escapes me.

We were being chained to this dresser looking thing in the center of this room, and we were being shoved down to keep our heads in where the bottom drawers go. At one point I decided to try to escape, and the girl I was being held with didn't want me to. I think she was afraid that we'd not succeed and we'd be hurt by the evil people, but I did it anyway.  Since I was kneeling on my knees, I thrust up and back so I'd hit either them or the dresser with my back and the back of my head. I think I hit the dresser and broke it, along with hitting a person. The girl did the same.

So we hurried and left, and there were about 10 people after us, kind of a slow mob or something. We were coming from the direction of the Garber's farm, and soon after passing the Arehart's house and getting up to the end of my sidewalk, I knew that an ex-girlfriend was back behind us. I don't think I knew, though, whether she was trying to catch us, or if she was running away with us.

Then I ran up to the side of the house where the back door and building are, and there's a small group of people there. They're the ones that I was trying to run from along with some of the people that I was running with, but I'm not sure if they got there before me or after me.

There was a guy in the first door of the building beside the house that was terrorizing people, or was going to do it, or something. The people wanted to get rid of him, but didn't want to make him mad in doing so. I went in, and I saw either his computer set-up, or a surveillance set-up. I talked with him briefly, I think, and then I went back out.

When I came out, I had this big yellow gun that was made out of heavy duty plastic and was was a rough texture, but the forms were smooth. I was told it was the most powerful police force gun, and they wanted me to try it out and use it on the guy.

So I aimed it in between the house and the building (there was a huge area that looked like the inside of a gigantic sphere) and squeezed hard on the trigger, expecting a huge kick from the thing. It fired, but it did a horrible job, like it was defective or something. I heard the people moan "Aawwwww..." or "Ohhhhhhhh..." because of how bad it was. The bullet left the gun and it was almost like I had just thrown it. It was supposed to break through the sphere, but instead it just kind of went up and bounced a couple of times.

I think the guy must have heard it because he got angry, and the people knew it, and they got terrified. I got scared too because I knew he was going to come out and hurt or kill everyone. Just as he popped around the corner and started coming from between the house and building, I was running for cover. I fired just as I was falling behind the closest tree, but I didn't expect to hit him at all. It turned out that I got him perfectly, and everyone was very happy about that.
